A: Murrieta Surf Soccer Club has made major positive changes in the last year which has resulted in the club making tremendous progress in both the development process of players as well as the performance of our teams as we strive to become the premier youth soccer club in the Inland Empire. We firmly believe the strength of our club comes from our focus at every level on your child's physical skills, emotional maturity, and sportsmanship. We believe that participation in sports as a whole, and soccer specifically can play an important role in the development of your child in to a confident and respectful young man or young woman. If your child is serious about soccer, we can provide them the best coaching, best facilities, and opportunities to allow them to reach and fulfill their potential. Q: What is the relationship between Murrieta Surf Soccer Club and San Diego Surf Soccer Club?
A: Murrieta Surf Soccer Club is proud to be an affiliate of San Diego Surf Soccer Club. This partnership allows us to draw on the knowledge, experience, and expertise of one of the premier clubs in America as we continue to flourish and grow in our pursuit of becoming the premier club in the Inland Empire.
Q: What are your home fields?
A: We practice at Los Alamos Hills Sports Park in Murrieta, which we consider to be the best training facility in the valley. Our game fields are at Los Alamos Hills Sports Park, Tovashal Elementary School and Murrieta Valley High School.
A: Murrieta Surf Soccer Club is the competitive division of the non-profit, 501(c)3 Murrieta Youth Soccer League (MYSL). This combined organization is capable of meeting the needs of any youth soccer player. MYSL focuses on the develop of soccer skills for the recreational player through its Fall and Spring leagues. Murrieta Surf focuses on the development of the more serious and competitive soccer player through its year round program. Additionally, the goal of the two programs is to cross pollinate whenever possible primarly by exposing MYSL players and coaches to the developmental advantages of Club soccer. This is done with camps, skills clinics, and coaching clinics so MYSL players can get exposure to the types of training and skill sets required to play club. If an an MYSL player wants to move into the competitive division, Murrieta Surf offers the most convenience and value driven way to do so.
